How to Care for Your Sunbed

Do you enjoy becoming tan? Are you a tanning bed owner? If so, develop the habit of cleaning it frequently. You will gain a lot by doing this. Your tanning bed will remain free of dust, filth, and bacteria if you regularly clean it. Additionally, it will look better. Not least among your improvements will be to its performance. So where do you begin? Only three items are required: rubber gloves, hot, soapy water, or a multipurpose cleaner.

The tanning acrylics must be taken off first. These are the sheets of transparent plastic that cover the tanning lamps. Remove the lamps, then use a moist towel to clean the reflector. The reflector can function more effectively if you maintain it clean because it focuses the UV rays on your body. By doing this, you can maximize the benefits of your tanning bed. Remember to clean the lamps and bulbs as well.

Find the ballast tray next. This tray holder can be located next to the tanning bed. All the electrical parts are in the tray, therefore it needs to be cleaned periodically. Unfortunately, the majority of people ignore this area, which is prone to dust.

Here is a decent routine to follow while cleaning your tanning bed, depending on how frequently you use it: clean the top and lower acrylic immediately following each tanning session. Every month, polish the acrylics to keep dirt from gathering there. Use water or a cleaner the manufacturer has recommended completing the same task on the bed's outside.

Remove the acrylics each year, then clean the bulbs and reflectors. Additionally, clean the acrylics on all sides. Check that the cooling fans are functioning correctly and make sure the vent holes are clean. Last but not least, replace the lamps every three to five years. By doing this, you can be sure that your tanning bed will function properly and last for many years.
